Dcevelopment Of An Automated Monitoring System To Measure Dissolved Co2 In Natural Waters

The study of geochemical parameters, applied to natural systems, allowed to improve the knowledge of geochemical dissolution mechanism like gas-water and water-rock interaction processes. In particular, the application of a geochemical approach to a volcanic system allowed to model the geochemical plumbing system and to evaluate the level of volcanic activity. In order to increase the knowledge of these natural systems, more sophisticate equipments have been utilized to improve the sensibility, the accuracy and the frequency of acquired geochemical parameters. Here, we presented the development of an automated monitoring system for measuring the dissolved CO2 in natural waters.
