The Design Of A New Type Of Key Stream Generator Based On Aes Algorithm

The core of stream cipher is key-stream generator, given the facts is that the randomness of the key stream, based on the basic mode CTR (Counter), OFB (Output Feedback), CFB (Cipher Feedback) of the AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) algorithm, is not particularly good. This paper studies the design methods of a new type of key stream generator based on AES algorithm, designs a new type of key-stream generator through the comprehensive utilization of AES algorithm CTR and OFB operation mode, and the introduction of variable-step count / feedback shift technology with the integration of the "one-time pad "idea. The results show that the safety performance of the new key stream generator designed in the paper is superior to the key-stream generators of CTR, OFB, and CFB basic operation modes.
