The Room Is Empty And The Dwellwer. Experimental Space Workshop

During the months of November and December 2017, some lectures organized in seminar format is offered within the program of the Corso di Teorie dell'Architettura 2017/18 of the Corso di laurea di Arti Visive of the IUAV University of Venice, in which we introduced ourselves in a process of progressive approach around diverse spatial categories that share the architecture and other plastic disciplines. As a final phase of the seminar, in collaboration with the Museum of Contemporary Art Ca'Pesaro of Venice, the experimental workshop entitled "The room is empty and the inhabitant enters", quote from the artist Jorge Oteiza, is made. This communication intends to deepen the pedagogical research process proposed in these activities, as an example of teaching innovation project that takes advantage of experimentation in the visual arts to learn the questions about the concept of space within the teaching of architecture.
