A Modified Simulated Annealing Algorithm (MSAA) is proposed as a statistical technique to design chaotic signals for Global Position System (GPS) which have good autocorrelation and cross correlation properties. This algorithm is a combination of simulated annealing and Hough transform algorithms. Some of the synthesized results are presented, and their properties are better than other known in the literature. The synthesized Chaotic sequence sets are promising for practical application system. The convergence rate of the algorithm is also good.
