Abstract
In this paper, a blind estimation approach of pseudo-noise (PN) sequence in direct spread spectrum signal (DSSS) with unknown carrier frequency offset is proposed. Assuming that the period and chip rate of PN sequence are known, the PN sequence with frequency offset can be estimated from the principal eigenvector of the signal autocorrelation matrix. The conventional beamforming (CBF) is applied to the candidate vectors extracted from the squared principal eigenvector. Finally, the PN sequence will be estimated from the spectrum estimation. Simulation results show that the algorithm performs well at low SNR in non-cooperation communication system.
