Abstract
Various kinds of spin observables have been measured for proton knockout reactions from s(1/2) orbits of several target nuclei aiming at studying nuclear medium effects in nucleon and meson properties through the nucleon-nucleon (NN) interactions. In these reactions, the averaged density can be estimated and some of the observables show clear density dependence. Based on these data, the NN amplitudes in nuclear medium are discussed in comparison with a prediction based on the relativistic approach. A comment on the spin transverse and longitudinal response of nucleus is also given.
