Abstract
This article explores the interactive relationship between contemporary logistics and regional economy of Shandong peninsula urban agglomerations within the framework of a logistics development trend model. Regression analysis is made to estimate the impact of logistics on regional economic growth of Shandong peninsula urban agglomerations from 2000 to 2007. The results reveal that logistics is playing a more important role in pushing regional economic growth than the latter's pulling effect on logistics development. However, logistics' pushing effect on economy is diminishing year by year.
