Web-based course is the trans-disciplines development achievement between web science and curriculum theories, so it is advisable to discover unified thinking patterns from both Web domain and Education domain to design and develop web-based course. Currently, web science is understood in the thinking pattern of information system while education science is understood in multiple thinking patterns. EPFIP (Educational-principles-from-information-perspective) is one to understand Education in the thinking pattern of information system, therefore, this article researches design and development of web-based course based on EPFIP under the unified information system thinking patterns both in web science and education science.
