Abstract
The inclusive differential cross sections of the Li-7 nucleus in a reaction induced by He-6 on a(9) Be target are measured at an incident energy of 25MeV/nucleon. Finite-range distorted-wave Born approximation calculations suggest that these Li-7 particles are formed in a direct single-proton pickup reaction Be-9(He-6, Li-7)Li-8. The experimental data can be well reproduced by taking into account of the contributions of both the ground states and the Erst excited states of Li-7 and Li-8.
