Coastal Seawater Temperature Monitoring Application Of Landsat8-Tirs In The Nuclear Power Plant

Thermal infrared remote sensing technique has shown a promising potential value in the field of environmental monitoring. Coastal seawater temperature monitoring application of Landsat8-TIRS in the nuclear power plant is summarized from the characteristics of Landsat8-TIRS data, information extraction methods and the application effect three aspects. The study result has a great significance in effective management of nuclear power plant cooling water; prevent the heat pollution, and protecting water quality and ecological environment.
