摘要
We are presenting a review of hardware, methods, and certain peculiarities of astro-climate observations for millimetre wavelength radio astronomy. The atmospheric transparency was measured with a two-channel radiometer with the use of the atmospheric dip method in the 2-mm and 3-mm transparency windows. The comparison of the our postprocessing algorithm with the old postprocessing method is presented. The new algorithm is shown to retain the optical depth values while lowering the calculation error for the case of noisy data. The algorithm permits to calculate the optical depth even based on the data collected in cloudy weather. The experience of employing the radiometric equipment in an expedition is discussed. Some results of astro-climate research, including the latest data collected in the Mount Terskol Observatory, are presented for an example. Some aspects of the correlation between the integrated attenuation and surface meteorological data are discussed.
