摘要
Imbalance of education in China has resulted in the problem of varied English levels of college freshmen. Many universities have adopted level-based teaching to tackle this problem. This measure is also taken at the National University of Defense Technology (NUDT) and the corresponding online platform is under construction. The platform follows two principles, level-based teaching and a multi-dimensional teaching model. The principles emphasize three dimensions, namely classroom dimension, extracurricular dimension and online dimension. The platform has been designed to make the three dimensions unified organically and create a comprehensive learning environment.
