The Numerical Simulation Research Of High Pressure Mist Spray Based On Multiphase Flow Theory

This paper has established a mathematical model to determine the optimal dust-reducing parameters of high pressure mist spray, effectively reduce the dust concentration and solve the problem of excessive dust concentration in the coal handling system. Use the two-phase flow theory of gas and solid based on the Euler-Lagrangian theorem, and carry out numerical simulation of particle size distribution of high pressure mist spray with Fluent software. Simulate the particle size distribution characteristics of droplets based on the atomization mechanism and the theoretical study of the fracture model. After analysis and statistics, it is found that the droplet size at the pressure of 8 MPa is mainly 60 mu m to 80 mu m, and the dust reduction effect can reach 90% or more. So, select the nozzle with a pressure of 8 MPa for spray dust removal not only solves the problem of dust pollution in the coal transportation, but also has reference to other dust-producing points in coal mines.
