Recognition For Switching Process Of Oltc Ac Test System

The study of monitoring technology for OLTC is of great significance, which can effectively prevent OLTC accident and guarantee the safe operation of transformers. This paper firstly compared DC test and AC test method. DC detection has defects in waveform detection and analysis, while AC test can accurately reflect the characteristics of switching process. In this paper, we proposed waveform signal mutation detection based on wavelet transform for switching process of OLTC AC test, which can effective recognize the switching process. Gauss function with the low-pass nature was used as smooth function, derivative wavelet basis function was used as mutation analysis. The experiment was based on an AC test system of OLTC transformer, after collecting switching process signal of different position, and wavelet transform was used for recognition. The wavelet transform was applied in the analysis of actual monitoring signals of OLTC successfully.
