A Sequence Impedance Modeling of VSG With Consideration of Inner Loops Control

Virtual synchronous generators (VSG), as one of the most widely used inverter control schemes, has been studied in the perspective of impedance modeling in recent years. In this paper, the sequence impedance model of VSG is built, taking the inner loops control into account, to make it more accurate than previous researches. Based on the model built in this paper, this paper points out that the inner loops should not be ignored since it has a relatively enormous influence on characteristics of the output impedance of VSGs. Finally, simulation results validate the accuracy of this model and prepare for further study of stability issues of VSGs.
