Abstract
With the rapid development and application of DC grids, the simulation scale and requirements of DC real-time simulation are increasing. The decoupling method of the network is a necessary means to improve the real-time simulation efficiency of the DC grid. In this paper, an automatic distributing method is proposed for electromagnetic transient real-time simulation. This method adopts the principle of resource utilization optimization. Automatic network division is proceeded according to the number of nodes, and the number of simulation networks is minimized. To some extent, the grid parallel calculation error is reduced. This method reduces manual participation and improves the efficiency of the network partition. An optimization scheme is provided in this paper for electromagnetic transient parallel computing, which effectively improves the accuracy and efficiency of AC and DC power grid simulation. It provides an effective solution to solve the problem of large-scale DC grid simulation.
