Abstract
We have Family of Lifetime distribution by Moore and Bilikam. Two measures of reliability R(t) = P(X > t). and P = P(X > Y) have been discussed. Shrinkage estimator have been developed for reliability function based on records and Powers of scale parameter by assuming that some prior information is available on the parameter of interest. Maximum likelihood estimators (MLE) and Uniformly minimum variance unbiased estimators (UMVUE) have been used to compare the proposed estimators by computing the relative efficiency. This article shows that proposed shrinkage estimator has better relative efficiency as true value approaches the hypothesized value.
