Reception of Weather Signals using Double Cross Antenna

This paper proposes a design for effective reception of signal from NOAA satellite within the range of India. The radio frequency used is 137MHz. The design has two double cross dipoles, to receive the signal. The design proposed was completed only after some successful and unsuccessful trials. NOAA able to capture the live image from the satellite which is passing over the sky and after that we can analyze the image by putting the enhancement filters on the image and able to conclude the results from the captured image.
