Abstract
This paper presents the design, simulation and measurement results of a novel 0.17-0.22 THz sub-harmonic mixer (SHM). The SHM is based on a low parasitic pair of anti-parallel planar THz Schottky diodes which fabricated on a suspended quartz-based substrate circuits with the high pass filter, low pass filter and IF filter. The simulation results and measurement results of this SHM are match well. In the frequency range of 0.17-0.22THz, the SHM's conversion loss are from 9.06 dB to 11.55dB.
