摘要
A variety of new decay modes, intermediate between fission and alpha decay, were predicted in 1980. Some of them like C-14, O-20, F-23, Ne-24,Ne-25, Mg28-30, and (32,34) Si, have been experimentally observed since 1984 with half-lives in good agreement with our predictions within the analytical superasymmetric (ASAF) model. C-12 emission from proton-rich Ba-114 needs further measurements. ASAF has been used to describe in a unified manner three different groups of decay modes: cold fission; cluster radioactivity, and alpha-decay, The fine structure of cluster emission may be used as a spectroscopic tool. The cold fission mechanism should be the main decay mode of Fm-264 neutron-rich nucleus, which has not so far been produced. Preformation probability can be calculated by our quasiclassical method. The universal curve provides a convenient way to present the half-life systematics. By investigating fission dynamics we can obtain information about nuclear shapes during the decay process and on nuclear half-lives.
