摘要
In this article we have analyzed the perceptions and attitudes of parents of children with Down syndrome, about the attention to diversity and inclusive education measures that these students receive in their respective schools. To meet the stated goal, opted for a descriptive research design of mixed type. To do this, we have designed an ad hoc questionnaire that responded 200 parents of children with Down syndrome. For validation of the questionnaire (content validity) to a group of experts was selected specialists in catering for diversity, composed of 11 academics, using the technique of expert opinions . The expert consultation has allowed us to collect detailed and high quality in order to deepen and modify different aspects, both in terms of format and content of the questionnaire information. We are inclined to choose among the various techniques of expert judgment, the Delphi technique, because this technique is more suited to the purpose and methodology of the study. The use of this method is justified by the same choice of experts , and representatives of various Andalusian universities and our process of contacting them was individualized were chosen, via emailThe reliability analysis of the questionnaire through the Cronbach a for a total of 26 items was 0.83. The results clearly show that parents of children with Down syndrome perceive positively the educational response that schools offer their children, although they share the principles of inclusion, not so with the way it is is taking place, noting the lack of human and material resources for optimal development.
