Effects Of Type Breeding And Nutrition On Plasma Biochemistry Of Goats In Burkina-Faso

Large serum biochemical screenings were performed in four goat breeding units in Burkina Faso. Results obtained were similar to results of previous studies in goats of the Sahel area. It was demonstrated that the following components : glucose, triglycerides, proteins, calcium and phosphates had the most significant variations. These could easily be employed as on-field techniques are available.
