Abstract
Cutoff rigidities of obliquely incident cosmic rays in the total magnetospheric magnetic field of internal and external sources have been computed by the tra jectory tracing method. The MAP1995 and Tsyganenko 1989 models were used to describe the fields of internal and external sources, respectively. Cutoff rigidities have been computed for the Italian Antarctic Expedition at geographic points corresponding to daily average coordinates of the Italica expedition ship for zenith angles of 15degrees, 30degrees, 45degrees, and 60degrees and azimuthal directions changing from 0degrees to 360degrees at an interval of 45degrees.
