A Unit Cover Testing Method For Embedded Web Services Based On Decision Tree

The embedded web services testing brings new difficult problem. This paper introduces the characteristic of SOA (Service - Oriented Architecture) and the difficulty which tests under the SOA environment. In view of the test case redundancy problem on web services unit testing, we propose a kind of test case generation method based on the decision tree algorithm, which effectively reduces the number of test case under the condition of guaranteeing branch coverage. Then we apply this method to unit testing with the Nunit which is a unit testing tool in the.net environment. The result indicates that this method can effectively enhance the unit cover testing efficiency.
