Abstract

The transverse momentum distributions of helium fragments from gold fragmentation on different targets have been measured and can be parametrized by a sum of three exponential functions of the form A(i) exp(-p(t)(2)/B-i). These distributions are well reproduced by such a parametrization, with B-i parameters depending neither on the target mass nor the centrality of the collision.
