Abstract
This paper analyzes the possibility of re-use of photogrammetric stereopairs - originally taken so as to make line drawings (stereoplotting)- and generate 3D models with photographic textures and orthophotographs by means of the techniques called "structure from motion" (SFM). The text includes many case studies so it is possible to see the factors defining the quality of the results. Finally, some conclusions are drawn concerning the usefulness of these algorithms for the Building Archaeology.
