Wireless Sensor Network Clustering Based On Minimum Energy Paths

In order to prolong the survival time of the network, we propose a distributed clustering algorithm based on the minimum energy path and classical LEACH clustering algorithm. This paper sums up several energy parameters such as residual energy, link selection and so on, because they are very important in communication cost between the cluster heads and the sink node. At last, the simulation results show that, the algorithm in this paper does better effect in the optimization of cluster structure, reducing energy consumption and prolonging survival period in the network.
