Non-Megavoltage Imaging Of Patient Treatment Position

This panel has thus far discussed aspects of megavoltage imaging hardware and software to measure patient position relative to a reference image. There are several other imaging modalities which can be used to establish patient alignment prior to therapy, including diagnostic x-rays, ultrasound, and video-based systems. This presentation reviews work in such areas and contrasts the advantages and disadvantages of these systems.
