摘要
A 43-year-old male presents to your clinic complaining of pain in his lower abdomen that is dull and "pressure-like" in sensation. This discomfort bothers him on a daily basis with mild pain throughout the day that worsens when he urinates and with ejaculation. Onset of symptoms was 6 months ago. He was recently evaluated by an urologist, and underwent a comprehensive work-up which was unremarkable. The patient was subsequently referred by his urologist to pain management. Review of his medical records shows a recent benign urinalysis, negative urine culture, and negative STD screenings. His review of systems is notable for fatigue, sexual dysfunction, and a long history of lower back pain.
