After the successful implementation of PBL in Canada McMaster University, it has developed rapidly in medical courses and even non-medical fields in the United States, Europe and other countries in the world. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the change that PBL brings to teachers. The concept and characteristics of PBL was introduced at first, as well as the practice situation of PBL in medical and non-medical education, and then the role and skill requirement changes were pointed out based on the investigation and analysis of undergraduate PBL course in nearly two years, the high quality requirements to teachers were also put forward, including the management and planning, professional knowledge, interpersonal communication and evaluation.
