Nonlinear Dispersion Coefficient And Modulation Instability In Metamaterials

摘要
In present study, the equations of pulse propagation in metamaterials (MMs) have been formalized and solved numerically using Step splitting Fourier transformation (SSFT) technique. The dispersion and high order nonlinear parameters are calculated with plasma frequency, which did not study earlier as the best our knowledge. The influence of frequency detuning on gain instability is analyzed for two different power pulses. The trends of MMs gain have asymmetric property which agrees with theoretical results published in the global scientific journal.
