摘要
Graphene is a two-dimensional material made up of a one-atom-thick sheet of carbon atoms joined by covalent bonds in a hexagonal pattern. This structure provides it with exceptional physical properties, making it an ideal candidate to be used in the development of biosensors. The Laboratory of Nanoelectronics, Graphene, and Bidimensional Materials at the University of Granada is working on the development of a device based on an array of graphene sensors for the detection of SARS-COV-2. The analysis system will be portable, autonomous, easy to use, fast, and ultrasensitive for the detection of immunoglobulins (Ig) against the protein S of SARS-CoV-2 virus.
