Elaboration Of A Spm Template For The Standardization Of Pet Images With 18f-Dopa

Voxel-based analysis of the cerebral PET images offer unprecedented advantages with respect to traditional visual reading and region-based analyses. A key pre-processing step to study cerebral images at the group level is the normalization to standard anatomical space, which requires from a specific template depending on the radiopharmaceutical used. In this work we have developed a template in MNI space for 18F-DOPA PET in humans, which is an exam commonly used to assess the state of the nigrostriatal pathway. The template is freely available for the neuroimaging community.
