摘要
Advanced porous hybrid materials possessing synergistic properties have been widely explored for different applications. In this work, we report a facile strategy for the fabrication of a sandwiched heterogeneous catalytic platform (Pd/UiO-66-NH2@COF) by taking advantage of unique properties of metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) and covalent-organic frameworks (COFs). The platform is constructed using catalytically active palladium nanoparticles supported by a UiO-66-NH2 MOF core, followed by the coverage of COFs as the outer shell. The resultant Pd/UiO-66-NH2@COF exhibits excellent catalytic activity and substrate-size-selective performance for the hydrogenation of olefins. This investigation sheds light on the construction of sandwich-structured nanocomposites for addressing challenging size-selective catalytic processes.
