Research On The Relationship Between Highway Energy Consumption And Energy Industry In Qinghai Province

Highway transportation is one of the most important part of the transportation system. It has a direct impact on economic and social development in Qinghai province. This paper primarily computed and analyzed energy consumption in the process of highway transportation in Qinghai province from 2009 to 2013 and established passenger and freight energy consumption lists though highway transportation in Qinghai province. Resulted that the annual average growth rate of energy consumption in Qinghai province was reach to 10.64% from 2009 to 2013. Oil consumption of road transport vehicles in Qinghai province was 58 thousand tons of gasoline, and 503.2 thousand tons of diesel in 2012. There was not serious in road transport energy security in Qinghai province. the supply market of refined oil has ability to guarantee the energy security of highway transportation from 2009 to 2013.
