The effect and mechanism of plasma catalysis of micro plasma arc discharge with Ti anode on the simulated wastewater treatment has been studied. This technology shows good result in methyl-orange decolorizing, which is related with the peak value, pulse frequency and duty circle, of positive pulse, anode area and electrolyte concentration. In 7g/L NaOH electrolyte and under the peak voltage of 400V and the pulse of 300Hz and 1:150, with the 28mmx60mm anode area, 600mL methyl-orange of 9.4mg/L decolorized 90% in 90 min. During discharging the oxide film formed on Ti anode is rutile mixed with anatase proved by XRD, which acts as catalyzer activated by the micro plasma. The exam shows that the micro plasma and the TiO2 catalyzer coordinated well at the Ti anode and the,energy efficiency is good.
