Abstract
The temperature observation data of Huan County station and Changwu station in Weihe River Basin are used for the validity analysis of the temperature parameters provided by GLDAS products which are assimilated in NOAH mode on day, month and year scale. Based on the temperature vertical decline rate, GLDAS temperature data are downscaled with the surface elevation with the reversed distance weighted method. The spatial resolution of GLDAS temperature data are increased from 0.25 degrees C to 0.01 degrees C, the data precision are improved, and the downscaled data highlight the influence of the terrain, thus the distributions of temperature are more reasonable. The result shows that the temperature parameters provided by GLDAS products which are assimilated in NOAH mode are able to reflect the distributions of temperature in Weihe River Basin, and the downscale method used in this article is feasible.
