Exploration And Practice Of Improving Bilingual Teaching Quality In "Applied Optics" Course

Bilingual teaching is an important access to the internationalization of higher education and the cultivation of innovative talents who could adjust to the international competition. The universal existing problems in the bilingual education of Chinese universities are analyzed in detail. Some suggestions about how to improve the class effects are put forward. Combined with the characteristics of bilingual course "applied optics", bilingual teaching experience of Changchun University of Science and Technology was summarized. The proposed measures to improve bilingual teaching quality have been test practically in course teaching. The students would get familiar with specialized English and master it step by step, which makes them keep in touch with the world in terms of both knowledge and language.
