A Revision Of Henicotherus Brethes, 1928 (Coleoptera, Chrysomelidae, Chrysomelinae); An Endemic And Apterous Genus From Chile

The genus Henicotherus Brethes 1928 and H. porteri Brethes 1928 are redescribed and a neotype is designated. A new species is described and biological and distributional data are given for both species. On the other hand, a new species registered in expeditions carried out in Chaharal Island (Atacama Region) and Choros Island (Coquimbo Region), in the Los Choros archipelago is described. Biological and distribution data for both species and recommendations regarding the conservation of Henicotherus species are given.
