Abstract
The science of image cryptography has been attracted with its significant attention. The hyperchaotic scramble or single chaotic scramble can be applied into large size image with large format and high pixel. The time complexity of image cryptography is considerably high and it is is one of important consideration for the real time system of hyperchaotic computing. Therefore, the image scrambling encryption can be divided into two parts to improve the efficiency of image processing. The realization of efficient image processing has been stated in this paper. To increase the speed of image encryption, an image is divided into several sub-images. The appropriate initial value and parameters are given as ciphers to generate chaotic sequence. The chaotic sequence matrix is generated for scrambling. The same procedure is applicable to sub-images; the scrambling is implemented according to different type of chaos. Hence, the effectiveness and efficiency of encryption are improved in this research. The decryption algorithm reveres the encryption steps and returns the image to its original form without any loss in pixel values. Based on the application's requirements, the scrambling algorithm can perform with or without a decryption key. The encryption algorithm is suitable for application that requires secure transport of high quality data.
