Design Application Of Warm-Mix Open Graded Friction Course Mixtures With Sasobit

Due to beneficial environment and fine engineering properties, warm mix asphalt (WMA) technology has become increasingly popular in asphalt pavement construction. Sasobit Open Graded Friction Course (OGFC) mixtures for optimal bitumen content (OBC), Marshall, flow value, Porosity, drain down and raveling are all tested. Making the best mixing and compaction temperatures, doing the target mix design are designed to fulfill its performance of porous asphalt pavement. The tests show warm mix technology can be applied to the porous pavement.
