Abstract
The Drosophila Protein Kinase C (PKC) gene play important role in cell growth, differentiation, apoptosis and phagocytosis. However, the mechanism how PKC gene is mediated still unclear. In this study, our study indicated that PKC gene expression increased during metamorphosis stage, 20-hydroxyecdysone (20E) can induced PKC expression, the silence of ecdysone receptor USP1 and EcR-A block the regulation of PKC gene by 20E in S2 cells. Those results indicated that PKC expression mediated by ecdysone through its receptor.
