Removal of color was studied in this article in order to investigated the feasibility of Fe- CA bominetic process application on pulp and paper mill post treated wastewater tertiary treatment. Conditions of the Fe-CA bominetic treatment such as H2O2 dosage, molar ratio of H2O2: Fe- CA, initial pH, reaction time, temperature were studied and optimized in this article. The optimized conditions were: 545.4mg/L H2O2, the molar ratio of H2O2: Fe-CA was 25: 1, pH 7.0, at 25 degrees C reacts for 40min, then after settling 3h and 40h, the supernatant were pipetted for color determination. The removals of color of 3h and 40h settling were reached at 70% and 83% at the optimized conditions. The final pH of treated water was 7.2, and GC-MS analysis of extracts indicate that the materials of alcohol, phenol derivative, unsaturated fattyacid and amine were cut off or reduced markedly in the treatment. Content of organic extract was cut about 85% after the treatment.
