摘要
The value of the stress intensify factor can be used to estimate the repair effect for different repair methods. Based on the 3-D finite element method, the model of center-cracked metallic plate bonded with single and double composite patches was established. By calculating the J integrations of the crack tip for the cracked plate, the stress intensity factor was outputted. Compared with the unrepaired plate, the finite element result shows that the single repair method can make the stress intensity factor decrease obviously in the repaired surface; and the repair effect of the double repair method is better than the single repair method.
