Abstract
In order to control dust pollution and increase calorific value of coal, it is necessary to make a feasible dry-type dust control plan in a coal preparation plant. By means of the numerical simulation, the pollution mechanism at a transfer point is analyzed. It is found that the dust pollution at transfer point is mainly cased by the joint effort of haulage airflow, induced airflow and shock-wave. A conclusion is drawn that the installation of the appropriate dust removal fan and the guide chute will effectively abate and eliminate the positive pressure produced by the impact of falling coal, also avoid the secondary pollution.
