Cluster Radioactivity And Related Phenomena

A unified approach of cold fission, cluster radioactivity, and alpha-decay is presented. Some of the new decay modes predicted in 1980, like C-14, O-20, F-23, Ne-24,Ne-25, Mg28-30, and Si-32,Si-34, were detected since 1984. Experimental data reproduce quite well the theoretical predictions within analytical superasymmetric (ASAP) model. For the first time an alpha-valley on the potential energy surface is shown. The successful example refers to Te-106 alpha emitter. Several features of the particle-accompanied fission are direct consequences of the released energy.
