The qualitative composition of two samples of vermicompost from different batches of the same producer and their impact on the humus status of the agrogrey soil, contaminated with fluorides from an aluminum smelter, has been studied in the small-plot field experiments. The use of vermicompost with high content of the organic matter and the low-mobile fractions in qualitative composition promoted process of the humification and the stabilization of humus status of the contaminated soil. On the contrary, the application of less humus enriched vermicompost with higher content of the mobile fractions resulted in the intensification of the mineralization, which increased the risk of degradation of contaminated soil.
