This scientific paper has the aim to present an algorithm that is needed to integrate an industrial robot in fine arts. The study starts from an image done by the industrial robot with the help of the camera mounted on it. The end of the process is about drawing the image with the help of the robot. It is about an industrial robot with ABB technology, which will be programmed to do an operation done just by human, to draw what the human wants. In the first part of the scientific paper, some existing algorithms about image processing will be presented, including the advantages and disadvantages of them. In the second part, a proposed algorithm, based on the ones presented in the first part, will be described. In this case, will be study at a high level the information and its type that are offered, by the image, and what it is necessary to obtain at the end of the process. For an industrial robot, the information that represents an input for it is very important; what it gets, that it draws. Based on the actual algorithms, a new one was created in order to obtain the desired information. The last part of the scientific paper is about the results obtained by applying the proposed algorithm and future attempts.
