Ambient Condition Synthesis And Characterization Of Nanocrystalline Batio3
CERAMIC NANOMATERIALS AND NANOTECHNOLOGY II(2004)
摘要
Nanocrystalline BaTiO3 particles have been prepared by the ambient condition sol (ACS) process that involves chemical precipitation of a titania gel and heated reflux processing of the gel in a Ba2+ containing solution. Among the processing variables, higher initial pH and Ba/Ti molar ratio led to smaller crystallite size of BaTiO3 powders. The morphology of the BaTiO3 powders was affected by the anion groups in the precursor species. Organic mineralizer, tetramethylammonium hydroxide (TMAH), can adsorb on the BaTiO3 nuclei and further inhibit particle growth. Addition of a polymer dispersant during BaTiO3 synthesis led to a smaller particle size and increased redispersibility of the particles in water.
