Abstract
The resemblance between LPP and multi-component constraint mixture problem indicate that method of solving LPP can be used to construct extreme vertices design for mixture experiments. This article proposes a very simple alternate method to obtain extreme vertices design to fit linear model to multi-component constraint mixture experiments including those in which all the components are in the form of linearity constraints. The method requires use of computer software that offers simplex method of solving linear programming problems. The authors have made use of TORA.
